What do people reckon on their chances of playing this year?
I believe they were the rumored 4th headliner which never surfaced in the end last year
Would love it if they played this year, Just got onto how many of their songs I actually know and love after listening to "the best of" this morning

Would love them to play, but judging on what people have said there are 2 major limitations:
1. Money
2. They each have their own agent instead of one for the whole band, so it's a logistical nightmare to deal with them.

Ooh a bit of Stevie Nicks et al would be quite cool

If they're too greedy we could do a lot worse than Fleetwood Bac (a very creditable FM tribute band) on one of the lesser stages.

I'd love to see them play but not if they're taking the piss with there price.

Saw them just before Xmas & was very very disappointed, what an over priced over rated bunch of *****
No stage set, very little stage presence, no crowd interaction & all that for £75 a ticket

Yeahbut imagine the whole crowd dancing to this

There is no doubt that FM produced a great body of work and it would be great to hear some old classics (see earlier post re Fleetwood Bac tribute band).
Another alternative. In a couple of weeks I'm going to see Peter Green (hopefully now on the road to recovery). If he's up to it that would be a classic alternative.

I enjoyed the last Wembley show (all 2.5 hours of it) immensely but not entirely sure if they would suit the Big G. An hours set popping out the obvious hits would be great and they could pull it off but not sure...
They DID say at the end of the show they definitely would be back to play a lot more in the future.

I would love to see them but I doubt they would play as they would be a headliner if they did

I saw him at the Pigalle Club in London a few months back. He was looking very frail and it was hard to hear his voice. The music however was spot on!

yeh, last year there were strong rumors about Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall (jazz world) that seemed to come to naught.
