I dont mind really the past 2 years ive been ive ended up spendng more with people ive met on site than my actual friends lol

Im kinda on my own - I'll be travelling from London to meet an internet friend from Wales and some other friends that we met at Glastonbury 2 years ago, who are from Cornwall.  I spend some of my time with them and some on my own.  i did have 'real life' friends going but they've dropped out now so that they can spend an extra week in Ibiza...  :P

Hiya I'm going alone too :P Coaching it there from Nottingham.

There's quite a few on here who are going alone from what I've seen in other threads. I think it's good to go alone because you haven't got anyone else dragging you to see someone you're not arsed about and all that. I don't think you can get lonely when there are 100k people around you :P

Me too, will be travelling from Norfolk but won't be able to get there until Wednesday night. Hoping to find a space with other e-festers but will need to practice pitching my tent in the dark.
Actually looking forward to going solo as you can be completely selfish in what you do and not worry about what your mates want to see.

Yep, me as well... Get yourself a decent head torch and pitching your tent will be no problem however dark it is.

This year I'm going with a mate, but I usually go on my own, and really you shouldn't hesitate - no matter how shy you are you'll get talking to people (the efests cider meets etc are always good) and it's and amazing feeling to know that you've got complete freedom to explore the greatest playground in the world!

Got to admit I felt a bit intimidated by the idea before the first time I went on my own, but once I was there it was great!

I have always gone on my own (Billy NoMates), but now meet up with people I have bumped into and/or met on various boards. Still spend most of the time there with just myself though - nobody else to please, so you can wander and do whatever you want.

Potentially going alone (although will be meeting people on site) depending whether or not mates get tickets in the re-sale.

I'll be alone.

In fact I'll be be a few thousand miles from my friends and family...

I'm going to look for the efest campsite, it seems like it will be a fun group to hang with.

Wow, that is dedication lol
I'll also be heading for the efests camp. At this rate I reckon we'll need our own field! :P

Most of my friends have never even heard of Glastonbury...and many of them are getting bored with my constant discussion of my planning, band rumors, etc...:P

I always wanted to attend a music festival in the UK, never had the opportunity before.
This year I just decided to make it happen and go solo.
