I'm an Irishman who's never had the pleasure of a Lancs Hotpot. I'd love it if a charming, elderly lady named Betty were to offer me one in June.
I'm also an Irishman who's never had a hotpot, although I live in England

Yay !!! I'll defo be having some of this if they do play
They were totally excellent last year, nothing too serious to say the least, a real good laugh and a bl**dy good time in general had by all.
PS: I'm well up for a hotpot stall as well if there are any traders looking for menu inspiration reading
yum.yum.yum and all that

I was looking forward to trying one there. . .
Hotpot is just Irish stew with added kidneys, and sliced spuds on top, really...
I have to say, I've often hankered for a nice plate of filling stodgy potatoey stew at a festival. Perhaps there's an opening.
drool....

I love cooking stews, especially for heating on a campfire in a field & I've often said I'd like to have a stew stall at festivals.
Maybe I should explore the idea further?

Loved it last year after the news about MJ when they launched into "He's in the chiller..."

They were indeed great last year, especially the fifth member on the left
(it's me!)
Edit: Is that YouTube link working?

Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, unless Betty from Coronation Street had made them.

Saw them at Avalon last year. Mildly entertaining, but nowhere near as good as Ivor Biggun or the Macc Lads. If you want real Glastonbury fun go for Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs.
