Bit of a nightmare - I mean they are clearly going to be at Glastonbury but I was desperate to see them elsewhere too. Looks like I'll have to shimmy over to Oxford 24 hours after getting home if I want to!

so...the friday or sunday at Glasto. surely sunday the 27th seems most likely to be the date.
but given this...this New Jersey band's appearance at Glasto surely has to be the strongest of any 'Strong Rumour' without any definite proof or word that you can possibly have (apart from Fatboy Slim) doesn't it? surely it will be added to the efests list today, before some other second-class site claims first guesses?

Nice!
I'll do Birmingham on the 22nd and then head to Glasto on the 23rd

now there's a dilema. do I go to this in Birmingham on the 22nd and then head to Glasto on the 23rd and have a party night the day before glasto or do I head to glasto overnight Tuesday with the potential early car park opening??
I'm really split on this!

Why do you need to get there to sit in the car park?!
I'm coming from that way (West Mids) and it's not like you have to get up at midnight to drive down in time.
If you must do the gig, do it, then get up early on Wednesday as usual and get there at a decent hour. No dilemma there, matey.

You'd be mad not to go to the gig. Especially as its only £13.50

Easy - pack up the car and get ready to leave. Got to the gig then go home, jump in the car and drive down overnight arriving for just after the car parks open (based on the whole licensing shebang).
That's what I'd do - I'm going to drag myself over to Oxford on the Tuesday, wish the London show had been the one after Glasto.
Hopefully Friday, 3rd last on the Other Stage below Vampire Weekend and the Chemical Brothers/Faithless.

I forgot 1 important part, I'm not at work on the Tuesday so it's no dilema! Normally head off about 5-6am Wednesday to get there, but wanted to leave about 4am this year to avoid more traffic if possible.
No work means lay in Tuesday, gig Tuesday night, nap till 3.30am ish and head off 4-5am Wednesday morning and no concerns about being too tired to drive! Sorted.

Based on the existing tour dates I'd say they're a fair bet.
I thought they were brilliant when I saw them at T in the Park. Bought the last album but wasn't that impressed with it.

Looks like Oxford for me after Glasto, followed by an early morning flight to Berlin to see Pearl Jam.
