Just had a flyer through my door, 65 litre 'storm' rucksack for £15 as part of their value range. Probably not the best quality thing but to be honest at that price if it only lasts the 5 days you've still got a bargain. :P

Perfect for those on a tight budget methinks.

I have no idea, I could do with a new one.

I got a 75l one from Tesco about 2 months ago for £17, built in rain cover and everything. Think they still have them in stock now

I know somebody that works in Millets and apparently the stock was never that high on these anyway. The value line that it comes from is a new thing for Millets who have been in a bit of financial trouble lately.

They are trialling the new range to see how it does.

One other thing, it's not such a good deal online as you have to pay 4 or 5 quid delivery but the rucksack is instore at Millets too. Phone your local store up and see if they have any, they usually open Sundays. My other half picked one up yesterday in shocking pink!!!

Hope this helps.

Blacks hasn't closed :P They've downsized the company but it's set them up well- the value range at Millets is a new incentive to get people into the store - some of the stuff's actually quite good - the flasks, map cases, even the £8 sleeping bag is ok - the torch they've got is blindingly bright -  but I'm not sure I'd trust the waterproofing on any of the products. a fleece for a fiver isn't much to argue about though.

There's a man with a mullet going mad with a mallet in Milletts...
