Wouldn't have been exactly hard for them to report/spot/catch the supposed thief either.

Still, pretty sure we wont see THAT bloody thing this year, but I am still going to hang near the stall for a while to see how many people heckle them as they walk past without buying anything.

  Don't wary, that flag is going nowhere near the festival this year!! It
caused so many problems last year when it was stolen from our stand. Anyway
Have a good festival and come and see us for a sausage in Shangri-la and
apologies for view obstruction for last year. Cheers. David

I don't believe for a minute that it was stolen.  The vendor got his publicity but doesn't want to risk being lynched this year.
