*bump*
Who's up for a bit of Posh (and I ain't talking Beckham's Mrs)?
We could pimp ourselves up for Snoop Doggy Dog.

Great idea!
I manage a charity shop and I've got some right crusty old posh frocks and wedding hats at my disposal. I might push the boat out and go for the peach satin puffball bridesmaid dress.

Just missed out on a bottle green velvet smoking jacket on eBay. Think I might have to revert to my back up plan of a white tuxedo + cocktail shaker full of vodka martini.

This sounds an ace idea!
We were thinking of pimping ourselves up for Snoop Dogg, but I feel looking posh will be far better! I did get a tweed coat from Glasto in 2007 so I'll be bringing that with me!
There is also an amazing Vintage/Retro charity shop close to where I live so I'll be looking in there for some pieces! My boyfriend already has a fob watch so he can accessorise with that and I am sure I have some cigarette holders lurking somewhere!

I've got a fair few old suits/tux's passed on to me by my Dad and old uni housemates - i guess they see me as a charity case.
Anyway if anyone is short of a jacket or trousers or both let me know! i'll have a count up at home tonight and let you guys know how many jackets/trousers i actually have. I would be happy to hand them on for a good use. Though i cant promise they'll fit.
Perhaps i can swap a suit for a ball gown...

I'm trying to persuade my OH to dress up, not really going to go for it on my own, although I appreciate I wouldn't be on my own if I met you guys

yeah no problem, one of my old housemates was fairly tall so you should be ok!
Though now I think on it I may have bagged them all for charity...
thinking more on it, I don't think I ever took them to the charity shop.
More concrete details tonight!

Just got the material sorted for my Posh frock coat. It's going to look impressive, might look more pimp than Snoop Dogg.
I guess it's time to think about meets. Not every one attending Posh Friday will want to see Snoop, so how about two meets?
One just before Rolf Harris (around 10:45am) and the second meet half an hour before Snoop (around 4:15pm going by Halvin's clashfinder)
Both meets at the Cider bus.
Any other meets can be done by going up to someone dressed posh, and asking them if they're part of Posh Friday.
