It's my first Glastonbury this year so there's plenty I want to do

1. Chill out and have an amazing time
2. Get chatting to plenty of people (going alone)
3. Not forget where my tent is
4. Sunrise at stone circle (everyone says it's good, plus I'm practically nocturnal)
5. See as much of the festival as is humanly possible

Before that I've got to do things like pay the rest of my ticket off, buy a tent and get fitter so I don't collapse!  :P

Chatting to people is one of the best bits of it and I intend to do a lot more of it this year! We spoke to a lovely girl from Australia just before Bloc Party who was an Occupational Therapist. Then during Bloc Party we spoke to a nice guy from Kent! No idea what we spoke about but they were both great people!  :P

1/ Watch Led Zep headline on Saturday.

2/ Help someone down the hill of death with their camping stuff ( I always feel guilty because I use a camper van).

3/ Try not to look in the long drops ( always do....always regret it!).

4/ Enjoy a cold one watching the sunset on Wed/Thurs.

5/Have a sing-a-long in the karaoke bar.
:P

1. Spend more time in the Greenfields area
2. Explore the site later at night rather than wimp out and go back to the tent
3. Chill out more
4. Stone Circle sunrise (amazing for sunset last year)
5. Enjoy :P

1. Have a very drunken and fun time.
2. See all the bands I want to see and don't let any others get in the way.
3. Stay up till sunrise at the stone circle.
4. Eat as much food as possible. (The food thread's got me really excited about it, haha)
5. Save as much money up as possible beforehand, so I don't run out of money too quickly.

Sounds like a plan to me.

I remember seeing some thespians last year doing 16th century esque monologues and what not, but cannot remember where it was. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

You can have a Growler at home.

Ingredients:
- Demi-baguette
- Oven chips
- Bacon (cheapest in the shop)
- Cheddar cheese (cheapest in the shop)

Cook the chips. For authenticity, slightly undercook them.
While the chips are cooking, grate the cheese and fry the bacon.

Slice open the baguette, put some chips in it. Put the bacon on top. Pile grated cheese on top.
Put it under a grill until the cheese has melted.

Eat.

If the end result is revolting, you've successfully reproduced the Growler experience. Seriously the only good things about the Growler are the concept and the picture of Pauline Fowler.

Have an Giant Oggie instead.

Having never been before there are a few things on my to do list that may seem a little underwhelming to people on here

1. Go up to the stone circle either for a sun set or rise with my camera and take a photo along the lines of the one in the Q mag special last year.

2. Try a growler

3. Have a Brothers and enjoy it. I'm not a big fan of the pear festival strength one they do, I'm determined to enjoy it.

4. Have my picture taken infront of an empty pyramid stage. Kind of a 'I was there thing'

5. Discover a new band I've never heard of just by chance

6. Visit Strummerville

Is there anything I've missed off that I should be thinking of doing?

Mate, those things overwhelm me every flipping year!  Good attitude, you'll love it.

1.  Eat Permaculture pakoras and wait for Roy to announce the new cake.
2.  See a quarter of the bands I want to.
3.  See some of my friend's play.
4.  Keep up the tradition of never going to bed until it's light.
5.  Have my 40th Birthday Party starting at midnight on Thursday in The Stone Circle.  You're all invited.

1 - Drink ridiculous amounts of mulled cider from the cider bus again
2 - See more acts on the smaller stages
3 - Be less reserved and just f**king chill out a bit
4 - Try more unusual foods
5 - Avoid U2
