Thank God for that, they are now "to be confirmed" I thought there was something wrong, Glasto would not be the same without Biggles Wartime Band!!

Always a Must See for me. Never hear of them playing anywhere but Glasto.

They were wonderful last year when I saw them in the bandstand up near Croissant Neuf tent, outside in the sunshine. Great fun atmosphere ending with everyone dancing about or joining in a a big conga!
Glad to hear they will probably play again this year - lovely festival experience !

The first band I ever saw at Glasto Thursday 2003 at the bandstand. What an introduction.

Someone was good enough to post footage of my first Biggles experience on youtube, I'm in this video (very briefly)

Has anyone seen them anywhere other than Glasto?

Nope! I never even hear of them playing elsewhere apart from Glasto. Massive Thursday tradition for our mob, wouldn't be the same without them.
Even have a wartime phone you can call and ask when they will be playing... hows that for service?

Brilliant. If that video doesn't make you smile, then maybe Glastonbury isn't for you!
That really is fantastic news that Biggles are now TBC. So fantastic in fact that I have now paid the remaining balance on my ticket. I think Biggles were the first band I ever saw at Glasto too in 2004 in the Croissant Neuf tent. They really know how to have a good time. Saw them again last year on the bandstand, almost identical set (even the jokes) and it was still amazing. I hope to see them again this year, and hope they still haven't changed their set!

you liar, making it sound like you paid your balance on the basis of Biggles playing, when you paid it off the other day

if you had to show someone something that shows why glasto is so much more special than any other festival then this video is it!!! Glatonbury summed up in one minute! Brilliant. I can safely say you wouldn't see anything like that at V. I can't wait til June
