ive got a few bands/artists in mind who i think will definately be playing the 40th anniversary, just down to the fact that they've contributed to the festivals success over the years!
coldplay( chris martin and his boys wouldnt necessarily expect a headline slot)
the waterboys (doesnt matter where or when! i'd be there)
billy bragg
orbital (hopefully)
the chemical bros
suzanne vega
levellers
aphex twin
faithless
bill bailey
senser
i got no sources! just confident and hopeful to see these at some point over the weekend.

i was thinking more along the lines of bands that have played a big part in the festivals past! not bands that have never played before!

Given the whole 'special occasion' thing, anyone reckon Lamb worthy of a punt??
Hopefully opening the Park??

Can't help but think that Coldplay and the Levellers will be in the mix somewhere. I thought Radiohead were nailed on too, but not so sure about that as they couldn't do anything else but headline realistically. Or maybe a secret set somewhere. Oh God, if that happens and I miss it I will literally combust with disappointment.

I damn well hope so, they were brilliant on the jazz world last year! And they were talking about that being something like their 9th Glastonbury performance so theyve obviously played quite a big part in the festival over the years
