if you look closly at the phto on the page you can just make out what it says for the festivals. Reading and leeds it appears to say blink 182 but cant read it good enough, it deffo says my chemical romance soundgarden. I dont think its likely myself but it seems to say something eminem? dizzy rascal, mgmt and julian casablancas. Anyway thats what i think its saying for reading and leeds. It seems to say muse and greenday for t in the park? download i think says them crooked vultures and acdc

The article will certainly say that V has Kasabian & KoL, and that Download has TCV.

With headliners I think they have been right in the past, but certainly with the other names they have been very wrong.

Think it says...
DOWNLOAD: Them Crooked Vultures, AC/DC, Van Halen
V: Kasabian, Kings of Leon
T IN THE PARK, possibly OXYGEN: Muse, Green Day
READING/LEEDS: Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Soundgarden (who it says were in talks to play Sonisphere)
WIRELESS: Eminem
Also making appearences: MGMT, Julian Casablancas, Rage Againts The Machine

was gona go Download on the basis of both AC/DC & Soundgarden playing....if its the 3 it says in NME headlining looks like i'l have to get a Friday day ticket then
If soundgarden are at sonisphere, il be defently off there then, theyv got quite an impressive lineup!

My guess from that is that they'd play what's now called The Edge Festival but which used to be called T on the Fringe in late August.

From what I can make out, it says Green Day for T in the park and then says something like 'Billie Joe's band could also be heading up Reading and Leeds'. Then it mentions Blink and MCR and I think Soundgarden are in the paragraph about sonisphere.
If those are the 3 headliners I wouldn't be very happy.

Yep.
I'm convinced that the majority of the article is guesswork (tho probably well-informed guesswork), and that the only fests that they actually know something about for certain are Download (tho perhaps only TCV for that) and V Fest.

Oh dear
KOL are following Foo's and Killlers as an overkill band !
I was hoping we would not see back until 2011 , I love em to bits but too much of a good thing.
Are they gonna headline Oxygen for 3rd year running ?

The wording in the paper is prety uncertain. Greenday 'could' be making an apearance, Blink are 'possible' and My Chemical Romance could also be there. If they do have info you can tell they aren't 100% but I'd still go with those three.

I still don't think KOL won't be playing any of the UK festivals in 2010
I think NME could be very wrong although rumours are quite strong for TCV for Download and R&L
Suprising that Greenday aren't there for R&L with how the rumours are floating round
No-one seems to make their mind up on Soundgarden though

Yep, anyone who believes that NME arern't merely guessing even if it could be a slightly educated guess is a fool.
