Glasto 07 was just exhausting.  Torrential rain, with sunny spells.  The ground resembled the Somme, and when the sun came out it started to dry the sludge, making the ground even heavier.  I believe that was the year of "Straw Wars" between stall holders.  Pitched battles by the straw trucks to get the straw outside their stalls.

I wore cheap green wellies that year with no problems.  Comfy socks are a must though.

Hunter Wellies are the best, hence that is why they cost the most, but just stick to what you can afford.

Since Kate Moss was pictured wearing wellies with cropped jeans, wellies have become de riguer for making a fashion statement.  People want to look nice, i have no problem with that.  But the idiots who wash their wellies under the standpipes, (so that the pretty pattern can be seen) causing an epic tailback for water, deserve to be struck down with plague as far as i'm concerned! :P :P

If it rains and you spend all weekend in them then £100 will seem cheap for good wellies.

Good find benjy, nice one.

No probs! Did you get any? Ordered mine last night and already had an email saying they have despatched them, so service (thus far!!) doesn't seem too bad at all. Always slightly sceptical when buying something off a site I haven't used before...

I didn't read the post right then and just saw Hunters £20 from Welly Warehouse and my stomach literally dropped because I brought Original Red ones from there not last month, but worry over still the same price!  :P

Haha, glad to hear it. I hate things like that. Bought a jacket just before xmas as wanted something new to wear for my birthday, and then surprise surprise come boxing day it was down to half price!! I would rather not have known as it really pissed me off!
