Probably not 100% accurate but thought i would let ya all know.
They reckon that Green day, Them crooked vultures and Libertines are likely to star.

To be fair to them, they are usually pretty spot on most of the time but seeing as Neil said he easily disproved The Libertines rumour I'm guessing they've got the same (wrong) info that Neil got sent.

If TCV headlined instead of the Foo's man im going to be pissed.
I love TCV but as ohers have said it woud be ridiculous if they headlined

Didn't Neil downplay TCV headlining?
And to me it looks like they've just gone on to efestivals. Surprised they didn't put Macabees down aswell.

Must of been a slow day in the Katona household

I would be curious as to how Efests disproved the Libertines one. Green Day is certainly a possibilty. and as for TCV headlining... utterly stupid idea. Not going to happen. If it does however, weakest headliner ever i think?

People draw Darkness comparisons: they were one of the biggest bands to emerge in the decade so far. They had scored two no.2s and a no.5, Permission To Land had sold over a million copies etc. It was a rash decision but they were f**king massive.
TCV, I love em, but you can't say the same.

The artical looks like a lot of guess work, I think they've had some info and made a story out of it, its not in the front of the paper where usually the correct info is, but rather in the back in a music section, so I doubt theres as much to it, its in the same sort of section that said Pulp were headlining Glasto this year.
It also says Kings of Leon and Kasabian are headlining V, which is probably right.
Another thing it says Depeche Mode are playing Glasto, hasn't this already been ruled out?

Kings of Leon have said they are'nt going to be touring or laying festivals or a while so I think that is bullox and I think because Kasabian are headlinging/co headlining/ playing TITP it is more likely for them to play R/L than V.
Pretty sure thats right

I heard Kings of Leon say they're having the first 6 months off of 2010, and then back to work again

luckysalt, on Jan 10 2010, 03:42 PM, said:Could that not mean work as in recording new matterial I think that is the only way they could justify themselves headlinig a festival again is by riting new stuff and doing festivals 2011.I heard Kings of Leon say they're having the first 6 months off of 2010, and then back to work again
As they said in there Reading performance last year everyone is sick of KOl including themselvs it would supprised me if the band took a hiatus and Cleab went solo for a few years and then they would make another return and do the whole festival circuit again in a few years

Yeah I know bud, I think they should definatly f**k off for a year, but I can see V going, we'll pay for your travel and give you $2million to play V. Then you can f**k off back to the states, and I can't see them turning it down.

Would I, no. But I didn't say me, I said V

I personally don't give a f**k about who headlines. I'm very rarely excited about the headliners. Them Crooked Vultures would be a gamble but it could pay off.
