Does anyone know any hotels in Stafford close(ish) to the train station? A short taxi-ride away is fine
We are coming to V on a weekend pass.
Thanks

I'm coming up from London again this year. Last year I stayed on the Thursday night at the Travelodge, Shawbirch in Telford. It was only a 10 min max drive on the Friday morning to the site.
Booked there again this year.
Don't know where that is to the train station though. Hope this helps

Thank you will look at this hotel!!
We actually have a weekend pass - no camping so will be travelling to the site each day on the coaches that run from the train station in Stafford.

the barstewards havent included that weekend in the sale lol so its £60 a night. there are a few b n b's about 20 min walk away from the station or i think the swan in the town does rooms but i bet thats rather pricey! if you can afford the tlodge i'd say that would be your best bet. the traffic in stafford is a killer in the mornings so you want somewhere with walking distance or you will miss your train
