    * Radiohead
    * Inspiral Carpets
    * Pulp

Others include

# The Levellers
# Rage Against the Machine

that was my first year.  i was 16 years old, and in those pre-internet, pre-BBC/C4 coverage days i was completely ignorant of what was coming my way.  all i knew is what my elder step brother had told me as he went in 93.  to say it blew my mind is an understatement!

Wow, i bet The Smiths in '84 were amazing. I would have also liked to have seen The Offspring in '95. 2004 looked awesome though: McCartney, Oasis, Muse, Morrissey. I'd kill to see that line-up!

I know it was only two years ago and my memory should be better but... did the Fratellis really sub-headline the pyramid?!

Yeah and I had to sit through them, as wanted good spec for Kings of Leon.

Although the next day we ended up watching James Blunt as it was ludicrously hot and had just watched Crowded House and The Racontuers were on next, so couldn't be bothered moving.

I remember at the time of Glasto 2008 on another forum there was a bloke slating the headliners because of Jay-Z plus Kings of Leon.  His argument was Kings of Leon have done nothing, they should be below the Fratelli's who should be headlining!!!!

The most ludicrous suggestion I've ever heard.
