Wasn't great over here though.

They sold a lot at Wembley, but loads of empty's at Hampden and Sheffield.  First time they won't have filled a venue over here for a long long time.

They have shifted an awful lot of tickets in the states and that is where Live Nation will make their money off them.  They've done well in most of Europe too, I'm just saying the demand to see U2 in this country is nowhere near where it was when they did Vertigo.  IMO they are playing Glasto to lift their falling media profile, they got nowhere near the mainstream TV and radio coverage that they got when they released How To Dismantle.

You have to look it in perspective though, maybe they have fallen a bit but they started miles above nearly every other act in the world.
