My own toe nails. They need cutting and I don't want to go anywhere near them. Finger nails I'm OK with. I'm going on holiday soon so I'm going to have to cut the little bastards. This fact I find annoying.

In theory I would agree with you but I think you need to be more specific.  I assume you are really referring to political rednecks.  I find them so unpleasant that I would struggle to contemplate a holiday in the US.
However virtually all the Americans I've actually met have been really nice, relatively liberal people.  I met some on holiday in France a couple of years ago and they were overjoyed that Obama had been elected.  "We won't have to keep pretending we're Canadians when we go abroad,"said one.
I'll also still go out of my way to see people like Joan Baez perform.

I had a similar misconception of americans, but then I moved to North Texas, deep in the heart of republican bible belt, redneck, gunslinging, america, and I can honestly say that the people here are nothing short of brilliant. Granted, to us they have some rather strange politcal and religious views, but I try to look past that, and on a one to one level I have honestly found them to be some of the nicest, most hospitible, warmest, honest, sweet and all round great people I have ever had the privilage of knowing. Totally changed my views of them. I'll defend them to the hilt.

So w*nked off at the moment. Hardly got paid anything this week. The fucking system at the HMRC sent a stupid tax code to my employer and with my present pay to date details I have lost a weeks pay. A phonecall has sorted it but it will be too late even for next week and then I have to claim my fucking wages back. Fuck :-(

That's a pain in the arse. The worst possible time of the tax year for it to happen. Have you spoken to your employer to see if they could do anything to help?

Unfortunately I work for a set of c**ts that supply staff to the main postal company in the UK (I am not naming names in case it comes up on Google). Over Christmas they were in the press a lot due the the fact of not paying some people for up to 8 weeks. The agency is actually run by another agency' and I get the feeling that most of the staff are on fucking work experience from that school were kids that don't give a shit get sent to.

On a plus the woman at the HMRC was lovely, but the fucking cow at payroll was, well, a fucking cow.
