I'm hoping they won't, and the stadium gigs make it doubtful, but I have the nasty feeling they will headline. Oh well, I just hope someone decent will be in the NME or Lock-Up.

Awesome if true.....ive well and truly grown out of their music....but after seeing them in october they are still an incredible live band. I would be incredibly happy if they played.....similar to Kaiser Chiefs last year while the music isnt anything special they know how to put on one hell of a show!
Also when i saw them in october...fortunately they didnt kill us by playing all of there new stuff and about 2/3 of the show was old songs!

Hmm that would make Green Day Friday headliner at TITP
I think if they were to play TITP they wouldn't be headlining on the Friday, thats for camping only.
I thought it looked ligit until I saw that
edit heres the image so you don't have to go off the site

The Verve headlined Friday whilst Rage Against The Machine and REM headlined the other days
Kings of Leon headlined Friday whilst The Killers and Blur headlined the other days
both times IMO Friday headliner was the weakest. As in the smallest names or the smaller coup of being booked
Surely Green Day aren't the weakest for 2010, i can't imagine which two acts they could have booked to make Green Day look the weakest?

It is.
No Day tickets for Friday at TITP, and its only a half day of acts
You only can watch the acts on Friday is you have a full weekend Camping ticket, hence why they put the weaker headline act on the Friday night
Which is my whole reasoning, Green Day are playing no Scottish shows, surely they would be playing a Saturday or Sunday when more people get the chance to see them through Day tickets

I'm very sus about this - they're playing Marley Park in Dublin on 23rd June and then doing Oxygen? I doubt this would happen. (That day is 100% btw). I'd take it all with a pinch of salt for now....

It's not uncommon for bands to play both Marlay Park and Reading and Leeds.

The thing that makes this fake i reckon - listed as headling both Rock Werchter & Pukkelpop - both these fests are in Belgium. When have u ever heard of a band headlining 2 major fests in the same country in the same summer?....and lets face it theres no way theyre not gona headline either aswel....they are way too massive. its fake

I still think this is a fake, and smack my arse Paul, I wasn't aware TITP had started doing day tix for Friday. My apologies.

I reckon this poster is a fake tbh
It's a fake for sure. As already pointed out, Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter is not possible in the same year. Same for Marley park and Oxegen.
And to top that, the confirmed austrian festival "Novarock" is not even listed. Probably the faker didn't know this festival, as he listed only the most popular ones...

In fairness, it does look like he's plucked the bigger and more likely festivals of the summer, and whacked them in between their stadium dates. Certain dates really don't make sense, so the faker hasn't really thought it through.

I really couldn't give a f**k if they play or not but at least they'd be a popular choice.
