i dont think it was picked for its popularity, i think its just because its a song you'd never in your wildest dreams see a song like killing in the name of as xmas number 1let alone a song with the word f**k in it

All done - 69p for the single and a tenner to Shelter. Perhaps I am worshipping at the altar of capitalist consumerism but I do spend a lot more than that on music in a year (as I suspect many of us do) and its a bit of fun at Christmas with a good cause getting something from it too.
