I'm just curious to see if anyone else is going to take up the offer of a free ticket to Sonisphere Poland?
Such a good idea!
I hope I get one, I can't imagine the uptake is going to be massive, surely?

The show in Poland is during School time and is a Wednesday.
Not very good for those of us with kids

That's a good point. I was planning on going back to Download this year, but won't be now I'm going to Poland. It'll be nice to try something different though.

I'm going, went to Open'er in Poland this year and although it was a pretty shitty frestival I had a fantastic time in Krakow so gonna revisit then head to Warsaw for this. Didnt bother with the free option, christmas is the wrong time to be spending 160 quid on festival tickets, its only 40 quid for Poland, I'll buy the UK one later if Metallica get announced.

hey, Poland is really beautiful
. Hope many of you would come here. I don't know if I can answer this question, but yes, I will be at Sonisphere Poland
Moz4pm - unfortunately, our capital city is not even half as beautiful as Krakow
. But if you want to visit other great city (also with great people and parties) I would recommend Wroclaw

you can get a flight from uk to krakow for about 20 quid there and back, hostels in krakow are about 14 quid a night, i highly recommend secret garden hostel, train from krakow to warsaw will be about 12 quid. As the poster above said its best to stay in krakow for a bit cos its fantastic then just head up to warsaw for the day for the festival.

I have been to Poland many times & yes Krakow is very beautiful, Warsaw is nice also. I bought my tickets too late to get a free ticket for the event in Poland
