Also, how cheap is it to get to Belgium from the UK for the festival? Very tempted to go, unsure on cost though.

In 2004 they didn't show the football. I think the final was on the Sunday if I remember correctly. As Belgium aren't there it is unlikely that it will be on.

No, she will perform on saturday, playing before headlining band Rammstein.

flight to the proper airport will cost about a ton. I got return flights from manc to brussels (charleroi) for a tenner return off ryanair couple of weeks before the fest. The same route goes from liverpool now. Even though people say it's hard to get to from there, it's a piece of piss, 1 bus 2 trains, bout a total of 2 hours travelling time, free travel throughout belgium as well!

The free travel from brussels is an amazing incentive. Gets the price right down. Tickets are 180 euros and that's about 160 quid.
