The news that broke today about this has got me in a tailspin. A festival headlined by the mighty Emerson, Lake and Palmer!! It sounds just too good to be true. ZZ Top are a great, great live band I know but it's ELP that has really got me foaming at the mouth. I bet the supporting line up is going to be something special as well. I'm only too pleased that Classic Rock has realised there is a very large market out there for progressive music and is organising an event catering specifically for that audience. Now if only ELP could be booked to headline Jazz World on the Saturday........

Is there going to be any space in the Park? ELP are renowned for a huge convoy of trucks to lug their gear around in - the backstage parking is going to have to be huge.

Hmmmmmm - the best line up of any UK festival in 2010 so far by a country mile. All we need now is Amon Duul, Curved Air, Tangerine Dream, Budgie and Porcupine Tree - chuck in a bit of Whitesnake, sprinkle a bit of Motley Crue and W.A.S.P, garnish with a pinch of Lynyrd Skynyrd and serve with seasonal Peter Gabriel. Yummy!

As great as more rock festivals coming is, any fest with a stage called the "Prog Stage" doesnt sound good.
