Ok, stupid thread perhaps; maybe bad taste even.
But if you could choose half a dozen or so artists / bands who are no more, to play at Pilton in June, who would it be, and on which stages?
I'd go for:
Hendrix - Pyramid
Stevie Ray Vaughan - The Park
Joe Strummer & Mescaleros - Avalon
Bob Marley - Jazz World
Rory Gallagher - Peel Stage
Mozart - The Glade

I'd have Charlie Parker myself, or maybe Mingus with a big band.
And +1 on the John Lee Hooker idea; first half of the set just classics, second half drag out all the guests he had on the The Healer and play it start to finish.

Muddy Waters?
Robert Johnson?
Stevie Ray Vaughan?
Elvis Presley?
Buddy Holly?
Bob Marley?
Albert Collins?
I was thinking of more-true-to-the-name-of-the-stage artists, despite there being very few strictly jazz performers on that stage anyway, but yeah, I would rather see a few of those artists than MD.
Also what's your display picture of? Pretty creepy.
