This year was the first time in 10 years id been, didnt set of till 6pm on the Wednesday due to work so didnt get camped up till gone 1 in the morning.

I'll be setting off earlier next year but was wondering once youve set your tent up what actually goes on on the Wednesday.

Are any of the bars, food places ect open.

Ive been to other festivals a day or two early before and its just the case of having a few cans and getting stoned, is that about right for Glasto on the Wednesday ?

Arrived Wednesday lunchtime and gave us a chance to explore and get our bearings, work out the best routes between stages and just familiarise ourselves with the site.

my first time this yr and on the wednesday i aim to get high, have a few to many drinks and then fall asleep at the stone circle for a bit and wake up in time to see the sun set

Pitch you tent, say 'OMFG this place is huge!' again. Get your bearings, find a bar, find another bar, find yet another bar, getting very drunk, phone your loser mates who decided not to go, have a boogy at the wine bar that pumps out cool music late at night, smile uncontrollably and say hi to complete strangers, prepare yourself for the Mother of all hangovers then do it all again on Thursday
