to be fair though, at no point on the wirless website does it say they're headlining.

Gigwise are the website that took the efests story about Muse headlining Glastonbury - and where efestivals didn't say what day - and reported it as "Muse to headline the Sunday according to efestivals".

I could drag out countless other examples of their fantastic (non)accuracy. It appears to be a website written by people who can't read.

There's certainly no official evidence that I'm aware of of the acts announced today as being headliners.

My daughter wrote to Wireless straight after the anouncement yesterday because she was hoping to be purchasing 5 Eminem tix for her and her mates,she asked if LCD Soundsysten were the headliners and this is the answer she recieved back.


This event does not have a headliner as such, though they are one of the main acts.

Efestivals says in the news story section that LCD soundsystem and 2 many dj's are co-headliners.

Doubt tickets will fly out the door this year...

yes - they were moved from playing that day to headliners on the Wireless site I'm guessing who they wanted to headline pulled out.

Taylor Hawkins is pretty cool, but quite strange, I think he would fit an early afternoon slot somewhere in the Hard Rock Calling lineup rather than Wireless...
