Ok U2 playing the Pyramid on Friday 2010 has sent the Glasto Efest Forum into a bit of a spin recently with opinions sharply divided as whether people will attend and whether their music will be any good or not on the night.
So if you are new to U2's music and/or are interested in hearing some of their stuff for for free then check out the great *Spotify* free web music streaming service.
If you are not currently registered you may be asked for an invite as spotify is incredibly popular. However might I suggest you try *THIS* to get around the invite issue...
(I believe it still works - did a couple of weeks ago).
Get yourself registered takes about 2 mins with no onorous Contract clauses.
Then the fun begins ... Check out 'The Fly' or 'One from Actung Baby.
Anyway the available spotify U2 music tracks are not totally comprehensive but there is plenty there to enjoy. When you get spotify up and running type in 'U2' (no quotes) into the 'find artist' data box and off you go..
Plenty of choice of great music available on spotify anyway even if you hate U2 with a vengeance
Give it a try and check out if U2's music appeals if you are currently unfamiliar with it.
Regarding the U2 debate - I love U2 and will definately be there to see them on Friday with some of the other diehard eFest guys and girls. See you there maybe !
Hope this info is of some use to one or two of you anyway.
Best Wishes
Dave
