Muse or Glastonbury?

So I came across someone who is about to make (IMO) a silly decision. Having already scored tickets for both Muse's Wembley dates and the deposit on their Glastonbury ticket they are now thinking of cancelling their ticket so they can go to see Muse again at the stade de france on the 12th of June.
They can't afford both Glasto and France so they have decided to refund their Glasto ticket and go to France, even if Muse do headline Glastonbury the set wont be as long and as personalised as the France gig will.
+ U2 suck

Seems silly, I mean maybe if they loved muse and couldn't get wembley tickets but why miss out on all the bands at Glastonbury and everything else there for one gig with french people who smell

I'd say flog one of the wembley tickets on ebay and use that for paying to go to france!

Reason 1. Muse are awful
Reason 2. They are likely to be at Glastonbury anyway
Reason 3. They are seeing them at Wembly
Reason 4. There is so much more to do than see one act at Glastonbury (maybe 3 or so in France I guess but the same ones as wembly once again)
Other View 1. If they are actually considering doing this let them they don't deserve to be at Glastonbury espically when there are people crying out for tickets

Sounds completely bonkers to me. Wait until the end of the week to see if the band Neil tells us is Muse I say.
As for the more personal feel of their own gigs, aren't they just using the same set list more or less every night? Surely it wont be too different from the Wembley gig (not that there's anything wrong with this)

I absolutely love Muse but not a chance in hell i would cancel my Glasto ticket, especially having tickets to see them at Wembley already!

i dont buy into the "well if they are thinkin of sacrificing a glato ticket to see muse a second time in 2/3 weeks then they dont deserve to go glasto" thing. i dont like anyone bein told that their veiws would see them better off elsewhere actually...
i will say this though. if they are considering this then surely they havnt been to glasto before, and if that is the case jus pull out all the stops to enlighen them. trust me, i pondered goin to glasto many years before i actually bit the bullet, and once i did i really dont know what took me so long

Yeah they should deffinitley go to Glasto, they're seeing MUSE anyway.

Glasto all day long...
whilst if they were to play glasto, it might not be quite as long, there really ain't gonna be huge amounts in it; 20-30 minutes difference maybe, and it's arguable that glasto might be more personalised being a festival gig rather than just another date on the European tour.
Them having the pressure of being a returning headliner aswell, would probably mean they'd want to pull out all the stops.

Why would you want to watch them 3 times within a short space of time? As much as i love Muse and would really love to see them again the magic would wear off seeing them so much within a short space of time, jeez, like a previous poster said, sell one of the wembley dates (cos theyre gonna be the same gig anyway) and use that money for France and then they can go to Glasto too

I would travel all the way to France if it meant I didn't have to see Muse. I don't get for the life of me how they sell out stadiums. I still have never met anyone who likes them, maybe there are a lot of closet Muse fans

Encourage these people to sell their Glasto tickets. With any luck there will be someone who picks them up in the re-sale who actually deserves to go.

Muse or Glastonbury?
Muse [ 1 ] [2.70%]
Glastonbury [ 34 ] [91.89%]
Don't go to either, they're both shit. [ 2 ] [5.41%]
The thought just struck me, re; 3rd option.
Who would go onto a Glastonbury Forum and vote that Glastonbury was 'shit' ?

Muse fans shouldn't be allowed into Glastonbury.

I voted Glastonbury however if he is such a big Muse fan then he should go to france......afterall I dont want to end up next to someone moaning about the fact that he is watching Led Zep instead of his readily accesible band!
