I'm hearing that the Stones tour next year is now looking different to what had previously been assumed (that it would start in August).
I'm being told that there are now some rumours saying the Stones are doing Europe first this time around. Then they would be in Europe from late spring until August, and do USA and America later next year.
So you never know!!

U2
Rolling Stones
Zeppelin (But more likely Muse)
That would be something.

The Stones on Saturday on the Pyramid stage? Makes a lot of sense to me Neil. Never thought last year could be topped, but U2/Stones/Radiohead would be an earth shattering knees-up for the Fest's 40th.
Any news on Chic?

I still think it might be the Stones on Sunday, one for the locals. I can't see Muse headlining the Sunday, they're just not right for that spot.

A source I talk to about the Stones has just sent me a mail, saying what I say in my first post. So I posted it.
I'd guess that it's because of the U2 announcement that he's thought to mail me. So he's been in touch today off the back of U2, and not cos the info he has is new today.

never thought I'd say this, but I'd be disappointed if The Stones are on...
I know, I could watch someone else, but that would be very difficult.... being anywhere at a festival with them on, but not watching them...?
with an almost 100% chance that they'll be a let down... hell, they were a let down (more often than not) when they were good

Get em in!! About as cool as cool gets in their day.
And remember kids....

I have a DVD at home from around 1990, Live at the Max or something, and its the worst live music DVD I have, from over 100. Like, laughably bad. The 2nd worst? Rolling Stones live in Hyde Park.never thought I'd say this, but I'd be disappointed if The Stones are on...

Agreed! For this momentous year it doesn't feel right. Mentioning Muse, no matter how good they are, in the same breath as Rolling Stones and U2 (regardless of the fact I dislike U2) does not sound right!
2011 yes, this year it has to be a big contemporary artist, and only one band would fit the bill...
