Ryan would relish the challenge , and no doubt give us some brilliant one liners about U2

Not big enough, but they could possibly do 2nd, with (hopefully) The Strokes headlining.

They'll surely need a big act to try and take some of the crowd away from the Pyramid stage?

I'm sure Art Brut would love it.
"Why would you want to, sound like U2?"

I was having my "breakfast" of giant yorkshire pud with all the trimmings whilst watchin them and I was spitting it everywhere from laughing so much.

Don't think the Cribs are big enough to headline Other but really hope they play somewhere. They've headlined JP a couple of years ago and it was pretty empty
but maybe with bigger profile this time round that'd be a great slot for them? Or 2nd/3rd Other stage?

Oh i don't know about that, I was at the JP stage that night and it was rammed from my (hazy) memory...!

I was there too - it was onlyabout 1/3 full BUT (big but) the people who were in there were absolutely loving it - including us. We started watching another headliner (I forget who!) but ame to Cribs about halfway thru and were able to walk to the front few rows where it was jumping.
Small crowd but a fervent one

hands down the best touring band around at the moment.
well, in my opinion.
an art brut live experience is like nothing else you'll ever see.
i adore that band so much.
JP/Park Slot this year please Eavis?

Maybe a headline at the JP but never the Other Stage. Just aren't a big enough band to be on at the same time as U2. My money is on the Chems headlining Friday at the OS

If that turns out the case it's a no-brainer....... give me my glow sticks and stick a bit of Star Guitar on please....!

Chems would work well, as if people wanna see a dance act they can watch them, enough of a contrast from U2.

They're definitely not big enough - they need something big to split the crowd.
They're also one of the most shambolic live bands I've ever seen.
Shambolic in an intimate setting = seems passionate and intense
Shambolic on a big outdoor stage = makes you look like muppets
