why pay Ł40 when you can get a duvet for Ł5?

i can't remember the last time i used sleeping bag, air bed and cheap duvet all the way!

though that taun taun sleeping bag has me rethinking my stance!

I think I need one too, I'd love a bit more space to wriggle around, I move a lot in my sleep.

I reckon I'd still manage to wake up with it all twisted and suffocating me in the morning. I hate sleeping bags. Sleeping bags hate me.

The Selk bags are great for mongin in but if your planning on a bit of action then think again.  Also if your in desperate need of relief then they can be a pain to get out of if the zipper gets stuck.

On the plus side, if your not planning on any action and you have a bladder of an ox, then nothing feels better than rolling out of your tent and popping down for breakfast whilst keeping all toastie whilst looking like a bright yellow yeti.

Me too.  I always wake up looking like a giant tried to wring me out in the night.

Loving the Taun-Taun bag though.  My inner Star Wars Geek needs that sooooo much. Reminds me of a story I once read about a guy who's other half forced him to get a dressing gown because the neighbours saw him through the window walking round the house naked.  He insisted on getting a brown one and when the shop assistant asked him why, he admitted it was so he could pretend to be Obi Wan Kenobi.  Sounds like something I'd do....

:P Had a similar problem. Just invested in blinds. Always get a nice Christmas card from the neighbours though!   :P

Back on topic - duvet, airbed and foil blanket for emergency cold nights for me this time I think. Last couple of festivals I have used one of those mummy shaped bags (Egyptian mummy, not some Oedipal kind of thing) and have found it a little restricting. The pod thingy looks a lot more roomy though. Nice.
