Welcome to the boards, and don't worry about being overly excited for your first Glasto.
Next year will be my third, and I'm even more excited than I was about the last two.

A couple of years ago I had a month in Australia. Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, Port Douglas, snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. It was an amazing holiday. But give me a choice of that again or a week at Glasto and Glasto wins hands down. I'm not sure if that makes me mad or sad or both.

My first festival was 1990 and have been going ever since.
Glasto is without doubt the highlight of my Year, surpassing everything else by a country mile ( or should I say 1,000 odd acres!)
Welcome and enjoy the build up on this forum, best place to be.

Welcome to the boards! Enjoy the build up - get Christmas out of the way and it really starts moving in the new year with rumours flying about, much planning, and the all important weather thread

Well, I have only been once previously. And wasn't aware of these boards then!
Glastonbury really is the most amazing place in the world though. It is making me excited thinking of it as your first time.
When it comes nearer the time if you decide you want to meet, just PM.
I will be the one most likely in the Jaguar Skills T-Shirt
