Great review.

But wait till you try Glastonbury when you're NOT on antibiotics!

Perhaps next year I should try it without wine, beer, top-end tequila and other stuff  :P

Maybe not... :P

A great read and great photos.

Very relevant for me as I'm pretty much in the same boat as you were.  Flying across the pond for my first in 2010.  I've taken a number of tips away and confirmed a couple things I'd planned to do make sense (arriving early, buying a backpack, showing up with cash to avoid ATM's, etc.).

Good stuff!
Thank you!

That is a brilliant review.

That you managed to do all that while ill, and attending for the first time on your own in a foreign country -  if I had a hat I would take it off to you!

Hopefully you'll find the cash you need in the next few months - and bring the weather with you again  :P

And if you're on your own find the Efests camp this time!

excellent. read it whilst waiting for a film to buffer. (a scanner darkly if you're interested).
waiting for a film to buffer you say? with 50mb broadband you say? don't know what i'm paying virgin for i say. customer service is apalling as soon as you sign the contract. at least we're getting hefty compensation from them after many hours of nagging.

anyway, back on topic. Going to recommend this to MrsPink, as next year will be her first time, as it will be for all my party but me (went in 08). I'm sure that she, and the others, will benefit from it and will really get excited by it.

Great pics, really good, although,  maybe some others will agree, no picture can ever do the real thing justice. More reason to go. :P

P.S. Just getting hold of some emmy the incredible, will report back with my couple of pence worth.
