Sorry, slightly off topic but did anyone else hear the Madavale session version of Ebeneezer Goode on Radio 1 this afternoon?

I was laughing my head off while stuck in traffic, I'm sure the person in the car next to me thought I was derranged

I used to hate that song still do, cant believe the beeb didnt ban it.  They banned I Am The Walrus for using the word Knickers in the lyrics yet the Shamen started shouting about E's being good went un-noticed.  Yeah, I know there are some tenuous links there but that song annoys me.

Mind you, they have some great tunes:- Move Any Mountain was great and Boss Drum was... erm... boss!

;-)

Hey Bob Parkhurst, its seems me and you both starred in Blackadder II - nice to meet a fellow character!  :-)

that didn't stop them continuing for a good few years at the time though.

but there was a good what, 20, 25 years between I Am The Walrus and Eberneezer Goode?  times and attitudes change.  (see also Relax in the mid 80s - banning a record for those reasons today would be more of a 'crime' than the lyrics themselves were considered to be back then).
