According to chatter on the offical facebook page its early February.

Does anybody know how long it will take to sell-out? I've never been before and trying to get a big crowd to go down. Hopefully they dont sell out for a wee while after the inital line-up is revealed so i've got time to buy tickets for everyone!

Dont think it sold out last year, but it must've come pretty close. The only problem you may have is getting accommodation, im pretty sure the holiday inn on the lock will be sold out by now, same as the hostels. If they're not, I'd book them asap matey.

From what I remember lkast year the only queues were for the big bands (madnedd queues were umm.. mad? ) and you had to queue for the roundhouse tickets, we queued to see the temper trap but it wasnt a massive wait to be honest. Great time all round :P

Some of the queues and venues can be pretty packed for the more well known bands. It's worth trying to plan your day so you have minimal venue changes.

There will always be queues somewhere, the trick is not too stick to your plan too strictly. If there is a queue outside one venue just go somewhere else. If you want to see a headline band that is likely to be full then just get there for the band before and you should be ok, even if it one of the tiny pubs. Since they seem to have stopped putting big bands (Supergrass etc) in the likes of the Dublin Castle then you can generally get where you want without too much stress if you are on the ball. :P

I strongly recommend Kap Bambino unless you're in the queue in front of me in which case you should go check out something else. :P

Have to say im really dissapointed at the prospect of having to pay to see the MTV gigs having already payed out for my tickets! Would have quite liked to see Sugababes and WAS, but am very happy to see new young pony club are playing!

The additional tickets that you have to pay for say they guarante entry, so I suspect that if you haven't got one, and it's not sold out you'll be able to queue to get in. Think it's a bit off to charge people extra.
