We're at Hostel Europa - which is supposed to be 0.4km or something like that from the Plaza de Catalunya.  If you go to www.booking.com and enter 'Barcelona Plaza Catalunya' in the destination box, it will give you a list of hostels and hotels that are available close by - some of them are pretty reasonably priced, if you're prepared to share a bathroom!

Regarding getting back on Saturday night, I think the metro runs all night on a Saturday?  I friggin hope so, otherwise there could be a lot people sleeping on the beach!

Metro runs all night on Friday and Saturday.  The regular TMB night buses run from the Forum as well.  The 5 day all inclusive ticket you can pick up for the metro/tram/bus will work on these too so a good option to grab as the queues can be less than the official shuttle buses.

Yep, 3rd headliner still tba. Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, Faith No More, Nick Cave are among the rumours (as far as I get what the guys at the Primavera forum mean).

I've got this as my glasto back up plan. I'm seriously attracted, It looks like ATP, but bigger, and in an aesthetically nicer setting lol.
Could anyone enlighten me on how easy it is to strike up accommodation ect.... or someone who's been before just give me a brief guide.
