Bit harsh, but I can't argue with the underlying sentiment.

Or Burt Bacharach - still waiting to see him after he fell off his bike in 2000 and we got the cringeworthy David Gray instead (the strangled cat-like wailing still haunts me to this day).
Or better yet get Stevie Wonder to play the whole of Innervisions.

Stevie Wonder would be a great choice - one of the all time greats.

I bloody hope so. It seems every year he is mentioned, whether as an actual rumour with momentum as happened a few years back, or just hopeful speculation - either way, I get sooooo excited just at the thought of it.
This year, pretty please

Mr Williams is spouting so much crap about Obama in the US, i'd be surprised to see him at Glasto in case he thought he was in Russia!

Stevie Wonder would not do the Sunday afternoon slot, he's big enough to headline, Talking book, Innervisions and songs in the key of life are some of the greatest albums ever made, he newest stuff is good to.
I would love to see him there but if he did the sunday slot he would be playing all his cheesey stuff which I can't stand

I would give a nut to see Stevie Wonder. Superstitious is one of my all time favourite songs. Even his catalogue of songs that are mediocre by his standards are brilliant by just about everyone elses (apart from some of the eighties cheese that is.)

im with you on that. i was gutted when i heard he'd cancelled that year - he's got to be one of the best options for a Sunday afternoon sing a long.
