Today i was chatting to a chap who i see once a month when i help out with training exercises he conducts. As is usual for me at the moment i started to glastobate....

and then he dropped a bombshell

oh, he says, if i knew you were going you could have had some free tickets and backstage passes.

:)

He gets them each year, soooooo guess who isn't paying next year :)

So you have got a ticket for this year and the prospect of a free one next year. Where does 'absolutely gutted' come into it?

Even if you have paid in full for this year you can probably get a refund I think. Quite a few people would settle for your situation.

Surely if he’s legit he’ll still be able to get you back stage passes!  I WANT SOME!!!!  At Glade festival a couple of years back I managed to sneak in to the back stage area, was wondering around this large garden area with a picket fence and a double deka bus in the middle, so we went up stairs and it was full of crates of larger.  Nobody seemed to care we were drinking there beer???  Was very funny & VERY surreal!!!!   :)

I couldn't give a toss about backstage passes to be honest. A ticket (free or not) would be nice though! :)

I'm planning to start a bromance with Michael Eavis in order to get mates some tickets. Do you think he likes go-karting? :)

I see your point but, what's the harm in posting it? There's plenty of stuff on forums we don't need to know.

well guys the gutted part comes from the fact that, had i mentioned it earlier they would have come my way, and i would have been a few quid better off.

as it happens the tickets have been promised to others. its not a moan at all its just a case of " oh bugger, if only"

sorry if some of you guys thought this was a pointless post, just thought i would share it thats all.

I was absolutely gutted at Leeds this year !

I had brought some fags with me , but one early morning wandering for a cuppa I found a pack
of 20 on the floor !

The fact that they were both Marlboro did not hide that fact that I had bought 20 and not really
needed to after all

:)
