I have to try this mythical stuff next year.
I just tried Strongbow for the first time a week ago at a British-style pub here (run by actual Brits) and it was pretty rad.
I spent the first 10 minutes complaining about how there must not be much alcohol in it before realizing that I was already halfway to hammered.

If you like Strongbow, (which is the Budweiser of the cider world) you'll love real cider.

I can't wait until I'm old enough to actually be able to legally buy Brothers, they sell the Toffee Apple flavour in a wine shop down the road from me- it's heavenly stuff!

Tried the Toffee apple version a few weeks ago. Absolutely amazing stuff! It's one of these drinks though that you could drink and easily forget there's alcohol in it and before you know it your smashed. Excellent stuff

I learned that quite quickly whilst drinking my way through a second pint watching Spinal Tap.

I found the Toffee Apple flavour a bit sickly, love the lemon one though!

I've a right sweet tooth tbh.
Not tried the lemon one yet but sounds like it could help towards my '5 a day'
Think the Morrisons near NDP has every flavour of Brothers now. Next time Accies get gubbed at home I think I'll pop in a buy a few bottles to drown my sorrows

Well hopefully you won't be getting a taste for it anytime too soon.

The pear stuff at 4% is a big let down, however the 7% stuff is superb even more so when it's on offer

Toffee apple cider sounds rank! IMO alcoholic drinks shouldn't be sweet. Not ever. Citrussy, tart, bitter yes - sweet, YYEEEUURRGHH!

Sadly our options out here are pretty limited.
There are some domestic ciders, but they taste like Smirnoff ICe for the most part.

aww. cider newbs so endearing
people are dead snobby about Magners over here. In their defence it's pretty average really and quite expensive. You'll get loads of better options when you're here!
