I know it's a long shot judging by the lack of activity on this thread, but I have two spaces in my 4 berth self catering chalet up for grabs. The price could be negotiable and would include a lift if you live in Birmingham or en-route from there. PM me if you are interested.

It's a real shame that we can no longer go to this, so I have a 4 berth self catering chalet available.  PM me if interested.

So a friend of mine can't go to the festival anymore, but hurrah, I can!  Unfortunately it's tomorrow... do you think I could take the tickets he bought and a letter from him, and they'll give me the wristbands?  Has anyone else done this successfully?  Can see a problem with this?

Cheers!

That's what I'm doing - although we're doing it with some tickets I bought off a guy from ebay.  The seller has emailed atp and they've said that providing we bring a letter from him, they'll accept it.  The issue is that when you arrive someone has to give their credit card details to act as a deposit against damage to the chalet - this is supposed to be the same card that was used to pay for the tickets.  You'll need a credit card though and a list with the names/addresses of everyone who's staying in the chalet.

In fact, we've done this a few times over the past few years - when the person who paid for the tickets either dropped out, or was arriving later than the rest of us - and we've never had any problems.  It's supposed to be an anti-touting measure, but as ATP doesn't really suffer from touting they're pretty relaxed about it.
