Do you know when the campsite is likely to be open by any chance?

I've now booked my ticket for Exit 2010.

What is the best way to fly over there? Budapest? Belgrade? Zagreb?

this year i did it from belgrade, but some mates did it from budapest, belgrade is a lot closer and you can get a cab, budapest youl have to get a 6 hour train which stops at the border for a while between hungary and serbia because the police conduct a search, personally if you were going for the festival only, i would say belgrade, but if you want to spend a few extra days sightseeing, go via budapest and spend a few days there at the start or end of your trip, its a beautiful city

Belgrade - Novi Sad, cca 75 km
Budapest - Novi Sad, cca 300 km (including border between Hungary and Serbia which might be very important).
I would say Belgrade is much better option but if you are trying to book low cost flight you should rather pick Budapest (as only German Wings fly to Belgrade).

Can you post up what comanies it will be when you know please. Im flying to Beni as soon as the music is over at Exit and its proving quite difficult to organise. So with more companies flying hopefully it will be a bit easier.

Ok this is looking quite good. I can get a flight from prestwick to belgrade on the 7th and return 14th for about £100.
How long does it take to get to Novi Sad? How much will it be roughly and how much is the ticket normally? If this comes in at under £400 for the lot then my T in the Park plans are well ditched. All depending on getting a job and persuading someone to go with me.

It takes around 1h30m on the train from Belgrade-Novi Sad. Can't remember the cost exactly but its not much - a few pounds. Less than £10 I'm sure.

World Cup at Exit

The finals and the third place match of the most important side issue in the world, as you probably already know, is overlapping with the third and the fourth day of one of the best festivals in Europe. Also, by the time the semi finals are played, many of you will already have arriver to Exit Village (you know that space with tents and other interesting details, surely you remember? :-))

The news is that you will not have to choose between music and sport, because you will be able to see all four games right at the festival: semi-finals on the 6th and 7th July, third place match on the 10th July, and the finals on the 11th July. All four games will be played at 7.30 p.m.

So, the plan for your Exit Saturday and Sunday is: The Danube, summer, beer, football, party, music... Why are we saying this when you already know it?

You didn't say what are the other two festivals you are going to attend, but with a reasonable amount of planning it should be an easy task. Belgrade is already well connected with most of the capitals in West Europe and situation will get only better after visa liberalisation and Serbia becoming an interesting location for low-cost companies.
