At the risk of pissing off some diehards who couldnt get tickets - reveal yourselves and be proud that you beat some experienced Glastoers to the main prize.

My first time at Glastonbury, really looking forward to it. Going with the significant other and a couple of friends who have been before.
I love the Stones and have never seen them live, so if they turn up it's a bonus. Even if they are getting on a bit now.
Good times.

I agree with this. I'd have been gutted if I hadn't got one, so I genuinely feel for those who weren't as lucky

I have this impression of you waving your new ticket under someones nose and laughing coz they weren't as lucky as you were
Well done for getting a ticket, but please be dignified about it

Been to quite a few festivals, but always avoided Glasto because of the smugness of the people I had met who had been, but decided I should go and see the hype for myself this year. Going with 2 friends who's been to glasto once before and 2 friends who have never done a festival. Should be interesting.

I got one at 8.58am - literally the easiest ticket i've ever bought... but i'm so sorry for those that didnt get one!!!! All of my friends were unlucky this year so i'll be a solo raver for my first glasto
and i couldnt be any more excited if i tried!!!
i will be religiously checking on the resales for people that weren't as lucky as i was!

Yep I got a pair of tickets after logging on at 8:50 started refreshing about 8:55 and after 3 or 4 I had completed by 9:05! The ticket was part of my girlfriends birthday present so I was made up I got through. This will be my first glasto since the days when you could sneak in and then it was ony for the day.
Think you were either just lucky or not but it was easier and quicker than V last year. Sincerely unlucky to the people that never got them.

Never tried to get tickets before and had mine booked by 8.50 - woo!
Doesn't necessarily mean that I'm going though. None of my friends manged to get tickets... and although I see many of you are going solo, I'm a bit too scared to go alone
Here's hoping one of my mates secures a ticket in the resales...

5 of us all Glasto virgins and 1 has never been to a camping festival full stop but he's in the army so I'm sure he can cope with slumming it in a tent
