Left the Jam Jar at home and going to head in late 2mor..........Massive Attack will most likely end up with a Massive hangover in the morn...........Gots to plan the illness! :)

As for the SOC monster...........not heard a word..........Thought she would of at the EP a few years back. Think she even played the same year but as far as my dodgy memory serves me it was a no deal........

Heres hoping old man Horace is with them again but!!

I was at that gig! Spent a large part of the day in the big beat tent I reckon! First time I saw Massive Attack I think

Real Ale wise, I didn't make it up to the Red Flag as much as I would have liked this year, but did pop into the Bimble Inn a couple of times. I took a load of cans of Tanglefoot which kept me well refreshed for the first couple of days :) didn't last long!

Don't think so. Although I love Blue Lines (and it's their best record) I prefer the post-Messanine stuff in the live setting. Inertia Creeps and Angel are so menacing live.

Suits their whole schtick way more than Nenah Cherry hippy dippy gear.

Now if they play "Five Man Army" however. "Trendy wendy... yaknowwhatamean..."

:)    :)

It's that time of year again.

All these narrow minded folk going on about the line up for the main stages are missing the point.  What about the IMPORTANT line up?

I'm talking the Red Flag.
I'm talking The Bimble Inn.
I'm talking the drink that makes Britain stand apart from any other nation - REAL ALE.  Who will make the main Real Ale line up of Glastonbury 2010?

So - what do we hope for next year?  Are there any WBC workers on here who could shed some light on how beers are selected?  Or which ones we can expect next year?

Which were your favourites from last year?

And just why is Real Ale so f**king marvellous?

My missus would love some Badger beer. Comes from near Bournmouth way. A bit fruity - one for the ladies  :)

Me - anything not too bitter. Some malt and hops. Nice and drinkable. 4-5%
Would love some Old Speckled Hen, or some Old Peculiar.
Woodfordes Wherry isn't bad. They used to serve that.
Hey, whatever. I'll drink it.

if your a camra member i expect you to have signed this already

if not, sign it, it probably wont do much but we can but try

http://petitions.num...upport-the-pub/

there are 40 pubs a week going at the moment, and these arent high street meat markets selling tasteless lager and playing shit-pop till 3 in the morning.

these are community pubs, selling proper ale (and lager for the un-initiated). these are important to the fabric of our communities, bringing people together for all sorts of reason.

save our pubs!!

You know what options we get over here at our fests?
Usually one or two beers sponsor the whole thing, so you can choose between Budweiser or (if you are the type with an adventurous palate) Heinekken.

Im really looking forward to getting off my nut with yall's 9 million beers.

Yeah - he said what beers were available at the fests over there. Im willing to bet he may take a tipple when he's not at a festival. Equally, I dont know whether anyone brews ales in america - Im guessing someone somewhere does, he might have tried one. Alternatively, just as you can get whisky on import stateside, you may be able to get ales too - Ive tried plenty of foreign beers from the comfort of my own armchair. Does that cover it?
