i've never gone on my own, but i know how easy it is to make friends at glasto from my own experience, wandering around chatting to randoms - it's the best place in the world to meet people

I went on my own last year. Met the Efests bunch and had a fantastic time. Made some very good friends in the process.

At the moment I'm on my own as well, not liking the idea at all tbh, so will make sure my mates try as much as possible to get tickets if another chance comes up.

You're never along at Glasto. One year I came on my own and met a great group who helped me put up my tent and settle in and we've been meeting up ever since.

me too, i went on my own this year, but if u camp at the triangle, your never on ur own once ur there unless u choose to be....i had a fantastic fest, didnt have to worry about pleasing anyone else, had a right old wander about, seen more that i had previous years...and to top it all off had the most fab time with the efests lot.....i guarantee you will LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
oo the only downer was the many many many hours spent alone in my car trying to get in, so id suggest car share or public transport, but even then the lovely Strudders kept in touch on the phone so not all bad lol xx

I go on my own, and it's ace. Most of the eFesters are an awesome bunch. I recently just turned up at a festival with a bag of cider and a parka, and I was well looked after.
For the 6 nights I was at Glastonbury I only spent 2 nights anywhere near my own tent

Still waiting for confirmation from my mates that they got tickets, but I'm not overly bothered if they didn't, as we all wanted to do different things last year so I didn't see much of them during the festival, and enjoyed meeting eFesties and random strangers and partying with them.
Am tempted to camp in Camp Triangle regardless.

Camp Triangle is the informal eFest campsite, it's on Pennards, about a third of the way up if I remember correctly (only visited it once whilst drunk last year)
