I think a pint (of lager) has closer to 190 - 210 cals and most bitters about the 230 cals mark. Some of the heavier stuff may differ but its not as bad as that. Actually, thinking about an 8 pint night...thats still like having 8 Big Macs

Don't worry...you can burn off 1 1/2 pints in your half hour!!

Think vodka and diet coke is the way forward.....

A whopping fantastic 5.5lb this week WOW! I thought I'd begin to plateau by now...it would appear not...

yea I was a bit off on my cal estimation

still too many!!! I neeeed to cut out the pints

Just adds fat to my stomach and annoys me when 30mins cardio burns off so little lol

i've lost shit load of "fat" not weight a few time in the last 15years,

my honest basic simple rules are:

do weights instead of CV
when doing weights, always make sure you lift the appropriate weight that you can't do no more than 8-12 reps any more reps is wasting your time. and at least 3 sets of the reps
I can not stress this enough *eat as much low Gi foods or raw foods* as possible - except after immediate training - if you don't know what gi foods are look it up on google.
diet = enough protein and plenty of carbs - look this up


don't expect miracles

don't expect quick results

expect serioulsy hard word

and make the weight training enjoyable and varied

use dumbbells and compound exercises were possible

whats your target?
No specific weight in mind, just want to feel right... Not sure what I mean myself but I don't feel that i have finished yet I now weigh 14 Stone 5 if I lose 2 more pound I will have lost 5 stone...

Well DVJJ you are an inspiration...5 stone is some achievement!  You look great, really pretty!  I think it is time for me to start getting fit for Glasto 2011.  This year's Glasto was slightly marred by an ongoing gallstone PAIN issue....however, the offending organ was removed last monday and I think I had better start the campaign now...although with feeling quite crappy after the operation, I won't do much exercise for the next couple of weeks!

My other half (mrbossed....he of the "thanks Halvin" T shirt) needs to do something too....he has been in agony with suspected stomach ulcer all weekend!!


So here I am 45, 5 ft 2.5 inches(don't forget the half) and 15 stone exactly.

Lets see where I am next June!!
