Can you still register?

I have my tickets but two of my friends didn't get registered before the Friday deadline in time to get theirs. I've read that small amounts of tickets will go on sale over the coming weeks but they obviously need to be registered to even stand a chance.
According the the Glastonbury website, registration is still closed and I get the impression that they're not allowing any further registrations for Glastonbury 2010?
Can anyone shed any light?

I did read that on the website but since it says "Glastonbury 2010 has now sold out. You can register for future festivals as of 12th October", it almost implies that you won't be able to register for Glasto 2010?

Of course it is, I'm not a f**kin' idiot. I don't think the wording is phrased particularly well. As I said, the statement on the Glastonbury website IMPLIES that there may not be another opportunity to register. I was merely looking for confirmation that there will be.

I wondered what the point of the "future festivals" bit was as well.

I don't think it's phrased well either - I think you will be able to register and apply for Glasto 2010 tickets, I think it's been deliberately ambiguous to put off the casual purchaser...

i registered again this morning, only to get a 'your photographs are not right' & 'don't reply to this e-mail' so i'm royally f**ked for the second time in 2 days. If only Glasto wasn't the best festival in UK, i wouldn''t care so much

Yeah, not the best wording really. but like others have said it may be intended to put of the casual purchaser. The facebook page says 'Latest update: Registration for tickets will re-open on Oct 12th and there will be another chance to buy tickets from cancelled orders in 2010.'
