[Aurigan Prime]

From past experience, which group meet up was the most welcoming when you went to it?  Im going to be festivalling more or less on my own this time (lift down and back but the rest of time alone) and really want to get to know some new mates while Im there :-)

Well for starters you always have the option of camping with us! It's a huge camp, there are lots of new people who do not know anybody and there is no obligation to spend time with people - you can come and go as you please, but it does mean that there are always lovely people around to talk to and attend the meets with

As far as the meets go, I'd suggest coming to the Wednesday Cider Bus meet - it's the biggest and the most definite that it will go ahead and be where advertised As soon as you get past the initial walking up to someone and saying hi, you have a whole afternoon/evening/night of meeting wonderful people

Basically this is a reply to just say don't worry about it though, make sure you're back on here around May next year and all will be well!

The football last year was the best. No question.

Grass/surface needs to improve for 2010 though.

Thank you for that considered reply. It is much appreciated and youre right, once that initial "should I say hi, will they think Im odd" thing has been conquered Im sure I will be fine :-)

There is a while yet between now and May, I will be on the boards a lot before then.  See you at the festival :-)

Things are in hand to try to improve the football match next year. Hopefully things will come together as hoped for.

Basically all of the above.  I went on my own last year and did the camp and I had the best time.  Shall be returning again next year.  Obviously it will get organised nearer the time but its good to be aware of it .
