Bringing Frisco Bay to the Fifth EOR?

May I suggest a possible theme for one of the evenings/days in the Big Top tent for next years (Fifth) EOR?
How about asking Kelly Stoltz(two time EOR performer) to curate a session featuring artists/bands from the San Francisco/Bay area....along the lines of Howe Gelb's very enjoyable extended Giant Sand (plus guests)evening a couple of years back.
.....with Kelly's pal,and former Green on Red guitar-slinger Chuck Prophet & his band the Mission Express maybe rounding off the evening(Absolutely blisteringly brilliant on their current tour......Chuck just keeps getting better & better!)me'thinks this could be a winner.
.....and since Kelly is a total Echo & the Bunnymen nut (see his own 'Crockodials') he might like to team up with Bunnyman Will Sergeant, whose own Friction Psychedelicatessan events are legendary...
...Just a thought!
PS:..and doesn't that nice Mr.J.Cope live just a megalith stones throw up the old straight track near Avebury?

That nice Mr Cope was actually a complete waste of space at latitude last year.....should I suppose say "in my opinion" but he was impossible for 30 minutes then rubbish for 20.
Like the other ideas though.....especially Will Sargeant.....he could pick a few bands, the bunnies could headline the Uncut (some nostalgia is gooood), then he could DJ.

...Oooops! I'd forgotten the discussions on the British Sea Power forum about Mr.Cope's Latitude set.My own past experiences of St Julian's live performances have been far more positive, and stretch right back to his Teardrops days.Though you are right in pointing out that you never quite know which musical cloak/ identity/hat/beard/haircut he will bring to the party.I remember his flirtation with a sort of Kenneth Anger'esque /Death Metal biker-chic stance that he brought to the Bournemouth Opera House a few years back.....and his appearance at the Cambridge Folk Festival(giant beard/flowing locks & green tunic) had a few of the old traditionalist folk-nazi die-hards spluttering into their tankards.....and when he nearly had a fight with one of the Security goons in the Acoustic tent at Glastonbury........one things for sure,in the tradition of the Pranksters, he's rarely boring!
...I really do think that the Will Sergeant thing could be one for Simon & Sofia to pursue....and a full Bunnymen show would definitely be one that Kelly Stoltz would swim over for....though as a friend pointed out...Portland,Oregon is currently probably the true successor to the classic Bay scene.
