I was shocked earlier this year, getting into my car and hearing To Ohio wafting from the radio, tuned as it was to Radio 2. Was Old Tel getting with it in his dotage? Nah, only Johnny Walker sitting in for him. Still it was good coverage for TLA
Hey, I just noticed TLA are a TLA

Well, that was rather lovely. And did anyone catch Billy Bragg's emailed apology to them for not getting to EOTR after the Dylan record? Now there's a thought for next year...

Very good indeed.
Billy Bragg would be good. He does live in Dorset after all.

Once again they didn't play Champion Angel
Never played it in the Tipi or on the Garden Stage.
I really like that track.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but it didn't seem worth starting another one...
Unfortunately I can't now use the 2 tickets I have to see The Low Anthem next Thurs at Shepherd's Bush Empire and I've tried everyone I know with no luck so if anyone here can use them, send me a message and I'll post them to you. Just seems a shame to waste them!

Fantastic x2 live tracks played on Lauren Laverne on 6Music this morning. Probably available online to listen again. Enjoy Sheps Bush those who may be going. Top band.

Shepherds Bush was amazing, can't wait for EOTR. They played at least 3 new tracks, which sounded great, so maybe a new album before EOTR. Played pretty much all of Charlie Darwin, a couple of the other album, the new tracks and some traditional songs. A great evening. Thanks so much to seadragon, I owe you at least one drink!!

Hi Folks!!
Hope ye are all having a nice Wednesday morning.
Just letting you know that my interview with The Low Anthem, who just headlined Vicar St. recently, is now published on the blog. The band released my favourite album of 2009 so to say I am excited is an understatement.
Check it out below when you have the time.....
