My vote for best in fest would have to go to that pizza tent - cracking Margheritas and unflaggingly lovely service. (The Shepherds ice cream was also dangerously delicious.)

Also, slightly tricky to find but a great pitstop about 6 miles north of Larmer Tree, Pythouse Kitchen Garden, for local bacon & eggs and coffee and cake in the sunshine... http://www.pythouse-farm.co.uk/

Great Thread as I have been thinking often of how much I enjoyed eating at EOTR!

Special mention must go to the Thai Green Curry Pie (with mash and gravy, naturally) from Pieminister - my tea on Friday night and bloody gorgeous!

I loved the Goan fish curry (the mild one that wasn't actually called curry). The Pieminister pie was delicious too but they had run out of gravy :-(

Everything I had was pretty decent, special mention to the handmade Organic burgers which were fantastic if a bit on the pricey side and the Chocolate Ice Cream.

Bit of a disappointment that the small veggie stall just inside the entrance from last year had disappeared as it kept me fed all weekend. The Real Ales didn't quite live up to the promise either but overall I was a pretty happy pixie.

oh god they were good!!! actually drooling thinking about them! and the pizza was lovely too!

oh my, the food at EotR was amazing!

Ate 3 Goan fish curry and loads of jerk chicken - should have checked out the North Africa food.

Had quite a few crepes too...

Fab food, from breakfast in the Food Groove through to Goan fish curry, tortillas, and the fantastic lamb boureks

The evening meals and the service at the Food Groove were a winner. And I thought a full plate for £5-6 was very good value. Goan fish curry was good as well.

Agree that the Real Ales were a bit hit and miss, though I did think that the Late Red was fantastic...very disappointed when it ran out on Sunday night (though my liver disagrees).

Goan curries and the Pieminster pies (especially the chorizo/olives one). Lamb Bourek was great too.
