Another great site is www.lowlove.nl - it is however in Dutch so make sure to at least understand the tags: "geruchten" are rumours, "zelfbevestigd" are self-confirmations and "bevestigd" are confirmed acts.

Hey, anybody have any idea why Lowlands organisers take ages to release the complete line up? I'm sure that with LL being the event that it is, they KNOW who shall be playing. Why do they leave us hanging? Tickets have been sold out for a while now, so, really, what is the point? Please enlighten me, as it's getting really frustrating.
Ps. I know that anticipation is part of the fun, but I've been hoping that they release some more names this week, you know being the beginning of the 100 day countdown. So it's the disappointment speaking I guess... : )

i think it is something to do with pinkpop, they always seem to announce the line up after that.
which is at the end of may.

Other than the (valid) Pinkpop argument: why not? The tension only increases visitor participation. Twitter's #LL10 hashtag hasn't been quiet for even a single day since February. Lowlands sold out with less than a handful of names announced. It's all a big game and actually I don't mind the wait, it'll only make the wait until the actual festival shorter! Just 94 more days!

Mmmm, i guess we are different that way. I would rather for example have a new name come out every 5 days for example than have batches at longer intervals. Or else, if we have to wait, an indication as to when names would be announced would be much better for me. Beats logging into lolwands website every two minutes or so

Yeah, but it's good for the site stats. They can say 'Look we've had 5 million hits in the last week,' without mentioning it's the same 10 people hitting 'refresh' 500,000 times each...

thats what Lowlands twitter said but I could be mistaken - having to translate from dutch to english could have come out wrong?
